  • A set of two 42g jars of raw English honey from Sussex. One pot is a set honey, the other a clear honey.

    Benefits: Rich in antioxidants it’s traditionally used to help relieve coughs and colds. Like all honeys, it’s got antiseptic qualities and can be used on small cuts and grazes.

    Tasting notes and tips: A pale yellow colour, this honey is light and delicate with a rounded finish. We love it with salty, mild cheeses, on toast, or simply stirred into some Greek Yogurt with a smattering of fruit and flaked almonds.

    Provenance: Our raw Sussex Honey is made from the wide range of wildflowers situated on the beautiful South Downs.  Harvested twice a year, the strength of flavor of the honey can vary depending on which harvest it’s from.

    Raw honey is not suitable during pregnancy or for children under 12 months old.

    ​Benefits: Contains high traces of protein, plus Vitamins B2, B3, B6, B9, Vitamin C, calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium and zinc. May be beneficial for your immune system, and has been traditionally used as a hangover cure! It also contains antioxidants, which may help with anti-inflammation processes in the body.

    Tasting Notes & Tips: An amber colour, with an intense floral flavour and a resinous texture. The depth of  flavour makes it a fabulous with bread, toasts and cheeses. Also try it in cordials, smoothies and teas.

    Provenance: This honey comes from the Leatherwood Eucryphia Lucida tree, and is endemic to western Tasmania, Australia. The province boasts some of the world’s most cleanest air and water, and most ancient and unspoiled forests.

  • Available sizes: 340g

    Benefits: Like all raw honey it is a natural anti-septic and has high anti-inflammatory properties. Could also be beneficial for the treatment of colds, coughs and sore throats. It is also thought to reduce burns and scars when applied to the skin.

    Tasting notes and tips: This honey would work well with yogurt, on porridge, or with poached fruit such as pairs, apples. Pair with cinnamon, cloves and star anise flavours. Try it as a glaze for Gammon and duck. It would also work well in cakes and bakes.

    Provenance: Raw, pure honey from the Yucatán Peninsula, Mexico, South America, which is surrounded by beaches and populated with rich, tropical flora and fauna. It has a deep amber colour, with a smooth texture. This medium-strong honey has caramel sweet notes plus some acidity at the end. Made by Mexican Stingless Bees, who forage on wildflowers, plus nectar from thyme, avocado & cacti blossom.
