  • A set of two 42g jars of raw English honey; one from Yorkshire, one from Cumbria.

Benefits: Can help coughs and colds. Like all honeys, it’s got antiseptic qualities and can be used on small cuts and grazes.

Tasting notes and tips: The Cumbria Flower is light and delicate, the Yorkshire Flower has deeper, fruit notes. We love them with salty, mild cheeses, on toast, or simply stirred into some Greek Yogurt with a smattering of fruit and flaked almonds.

Provenance: Made in northern England, Cumbria & Yorkshire, United Kingdom. The bees source nectar and pollen from wildflower, tree and hedgerow blossom.

Raw honey is not suitable during pregnancy or for children under 12 months old.

  • Available sizes: 340g

Benefits: Like all raw honey it is a natural anti-septic and has high anti-inflammatory properties. Could also be beneficial for the treatment of colds, coughs and sore throats. It is also thought to reduce burns and scars when applied to the skin.

Tasting notes and tips: This honey would work well with yogurt, on porridge, or with poached fruit such as pairs, apples. Pair with cinnamon, cloves and star anise flavours. Try it as a glaze for Gammon and duck. It would also work well in cakes and bakes.

Provenance: Raw, pure honey from the Yucatán Peninsula, Mexico, South America, which is surrounded by beaches and populated with rich, tropical flora and fauna. It has a deep amber colour, with a smooth texture. This medium-strong honey has caramel sweet notes plus some acidity at the end. Made by Mexican Stingless Bees, who forage on wildflowers, plus nectar from thyme, avocado & cacti blossom.

  • Made by bees who forage across the Yorkshire countryside over the early spring to late summer months, picking up pollen and nectar from a range of flowers including tree blossom, wildflowers and other sources of forage.

Benefits: Like all raw honeys, Yorkshire Flower honey has antioxidant and anti-bacterial properties. Considered beneficial for supporting the immune system, alleviating inflammation and soothing coughs and colds.

Tasting notes and tips: A rich amber coloured honey, it has a supple and smooth flavour, with some hints of prune, blackberry and delicate caramel. A warming honey that’s great with porridge, crumpets, teacakes and similar. Would also work well with natural yogurt, toasted nuts and goat’s cheeses.
