  • Benefits: A gentle honey, great for children. It may also help to keep your liver and intestines healthy, and its antibacterial properties have traditionally been used to help with any respiratory ailments.

    Tasting notes and tips: A delicate, light flavour. Try it by the spoon, but it can also be wonderful with cheeses, or spread thickly on crumpets and toast. We like it topping a decadent dessert of cream and fresh summer fruits.

    Provenance: Made in Poland, the beekeeper cuts the comb directly from the honey frame that’s been in the hive.  It has nothing added and nothing removed so that it maintains all its nutritional benefits.

  • Benefits: Buckwheat honey is rich in antioxidents and minerals such as iron, it’s popular as a remedy for sore throats, coughs and stomach aches. Like all honeys it’s beneficial for the immune system and promotes healing.

    Tasting notes and tips: A strong, dark honey with a rich malty flavour and a smoky finish. It has a fresh tobacco aroma and is brilliant in ginger cakes, rich fruit cakes, porridge, and on the savoury side, in barbecue marinades and with strong, tangy cheeses.

    Provenance: A popular honey across eastern Europe, ours is made in Lithuania, by beekeepers committed to ethical beekeeping and the happiness of their bees. The bees forage on wild Buckwheat which produces tiny white flowers in late summer.

  • Benefits:  Raw honey contains antioxidants & vitamins, plus the comb provides extra Vitamin A. Can help promote gum health, soothe colds, and due to its anti-inflammatory & antiseptic properties, also help reduce inflammation & infection.

    Tasting notes and tips: This delicate honeycomb is filled with honey made from the pollen of hedgerows, wildflowers and pasture fields of North Devon. Try it by the spoon, but it can also be wonderful with cheeses, or spread thickly on crumpets and toast. We like it topping a decadent dessert of cream and fresh summer fruits.

    Provenance: Made in Devon, by the Wallace family, who began beekeeping in 1949. Located in South Molton a small village south of Exmoor National Park. The bees forage across the hedgerows and pastures of North Devon. Their honey production is overseen by their head beekeeper who has a Masters of Excellence in Beekeeping.

    ​Benefits: Heather honey is highly prized for its health and healing benefits as it’s rich in antioxidants and anti-bacterial properties. It’s traditionally used to treat digestive disorders and kidney infections.

    Tasting Notes & Tips: This honey has a highly perfumed aroma, strong heather notes, with a hint of caramel or Amaretto. A deep amber colour, it’s ‘medium bodied’ and sweet. We think it’s fab with cheese (anything with ‘bite’), game, toasted teacakes, porridge, and added to cakes or pastry recipes.

    Provenance: A popular honey with many,ours is an exquisite example. Made in Lithuania by beekeepers committed to ethical beekeeping and the happiness of their bees. The bees forage on wild heather which produces flowers in late summer.

  • Available Sizes: 250g

    A blend of 94% Acacia honey and 6% pure fruit or spice. No added sugars in the fruit, and all the benefits of a honey.

    Tasting Notes & Tips: We’re converts to honey creme and like to use it like a jam. Try it on toast, in a Victoria Sponge, or with vanilla ice cream, natural yogurt, or even porridge! This stuff is great if you’re not a big honey fan.

    Similar to Black Venus, but less dense and so takes less time to cook. Boil for 30 minutes. Good for salads, try it mixed with Black Venus, mayonnaise and spring onions.

    Benefits: Traditionally used as a tonic to calm nerves and is thought to be beneficial in soothing arthritis.

    Tasting Notes & Tips: A light colour, with a delicate, floral flavour. Its aromatic properties are fantastic with traditional northern Italian dishes such as prosciutto ham with fresh figs. We also like it with sweet (dolce) Gorgonzola or other salty, mild cheeses. Alpine flowers are found high up in the alps in the Valsesia area of Piedmont. This honey is prized because the flowers are only in bloom for a short time and are often ruined by high winds or sudden downpours.

    A unique blend of soft wheat flour and corn starch, designed for superb cake baking. Particularly good for tall cakes and the softest sponges, it will give you professional patisserie level results at home.

    Benefits: Rich in antioxidants it’s traditionally used to help relieve coughs and colds. Like all honeys, it’s got antiseptic qualities and can be used on small cuts and grazes.

    Tasting notes and tips: A pale yellow colour, this honey is light and delicate with a rounded finish. We love it with salty, mild cheeses, on toast, or simply stirred into some Greek Yogurt with a smattering of fruit and flaked almonds.

    Provenance: Our raw Sussex Honey is made from the wide range of wildflowers situated on the beautiful South Downs.  Harvested twice a year, the strength of flavor of the honey can vary depending on which harvest it’s from.

    ​Benefits: Contains high traces of protein, plus Vitamins B2, B3, B6, B9, Vitamin C, calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium and zinc. May be beneficial for your immune system, and has been traditionally used as a hangover cure! It also contains antioxidants, which may help with anti-inflammation processes in the body.

    Tasting Notes & Tips: An amber colour, with an intense floral flavour and a resinous texture. The depth of  flavour makes it a fabulous with bread, toasts and cheeses. Also try it in cordials, smoothies and teas.

    Provenance: This honey comes from the Leatherwood Eucryphia Lucida tree, and is endemic to western Tasmania, Australia. The province boasts some of the world’s most cleanest air and water, and most ancient and unspoiled forests.

    A fine powder like consistency, this flour is prized as the best baking flour in Italy. As it doesn’t need as much water as other flours to make a dough, it’s ideal for pizza bases, cakes, pastries, brioches and biscuits.

    Benefits: Like all raw honey it is a natural anti-septic and has high anti-inflammatory properties. Could also be beneficial for the treatment of colds, coughs and sore throats. It is also thought to reduce burns and scars when applied to the skin.

    Tasting notes and tips: This honey would work well with yogurt, on porridge, or with poached fruit such as pairs, apples. Pair with cinnamon, cloves and star anise flavours. Try it as a glaze for Gammon and duck. It would also work well in cakes and bakes.

    Provenance: Raw, pure honey from the Yucatán Peninsula, Mexico, South America, which is surrounded by beaches and populated with rich, tropical flora and fauna. It has a deep amber colour, with a smooth texture. This medium-strong honey has caramel sweet notes plus some acidity at the end. Made by Mexican Stingless Bees, who forage on wildflowers, plus nectar from thyme, avocado & cacti blossom.
